Nortel Networks, Telus Mobility, Redknee.com Demo In-Vehicle Wireless Internet
Advanced Intelligent Mobile Entertainment (AIME) Delivers 'Anytime, Anywhere' Access

CALGARY, Alberta - Nortel Networks* [NYSE/TSE: NT], TELUS* Mobility and Redknee.com* today showcased a fully operational, 'in-vehicle' mobile solution called AIME* (Advanced Intelligent Mobile Entertainment) that delivers Wireless Internet, personalized information and streaming multimedia content into automobiles.

This solution was demonstrated as part of a live, over-the-air, cdma2000* third generation (3G) Wireless Internet trial that Nortel Networks and TELUS Mobility are conducting in Calgary.

AIME is a prototype in-vehicle multimedia solution that delivers mobile e-commerce, infotainment, messaging, news, traffic, weather, location-based advertising and other, user-defined services. AIME operates on the TELUS Mobility network using Nortel Networks next generation cdma2000 1XRTT Wireless Internet technology, which is designed to provide packet data transmission at speeds up to 144 kilobits per second for 'always on' Internet access from mobile devices.
