Board Appointment
TORONTO – December 11, 2008 – Redknee Solutions, Inc. (TSX:RKN, AIM:RKN), a leading provider of mission-critical billing and charging software and solutions for communications service providers, today announced the appointment of Mr. Alan Michels as a non-executive director of its Board in effect from December 10, 2008.
Alan (aged 58) was most recently President of Kenan Systems Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CSG Systems Inc., which was subsequently sold to Comverse Technologies Inc. in 2006. Mr. Michels has also held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Telewest Communications Plc, now Virgin Media Inc., and he is a partner of Alan Michels Enterprises, LLC.
Alan is a graduate of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where he attained an Undergraduate Degree BA History, as well as a Graduate Degree MBA Finance.
Alan comes with more than 30 years of global experience in IT and telecommunications.
