Redknee makes strategic hire to drive growth in Asia Pacific
MACAU – November 19, 2008 – Redknee (TSX: RKN, AIM: RKN), a leading provider of mission-critical software and solutions for communications service providers, has appointed Billy Liew as the Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific. Based out of Hong Kong, Billy is directly responsible for developing and growing the company’s business in the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining Redknee, Billy was the regional Vice President of Sales for IP Unity Glenayre responsible for the Asia Pacific region.Billy brings to the company more than 19 years of international experience in IT and telecommunications. Through his strong business acumen and in-depth industry knowledge, he successfully held senior positions in well-known multi-national companies, including Hewlett-Packard, AT&T, Schlumberger, Atos Origin and Cisco Systems.
Billy is a graduate of Boston University, US, where he attained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude). He subsequently attained the Postgraduate Diploma in Telecommunication Software with specialization in Data Communications and Networking, at the Information Communication Institute of Singapore (a JV between AT&T Bell Labs and Singapore government) through sponsorship from National Computer Board and Economic Development Board of Singapore. In April 2005, he attained the prestigious MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
