O2 plc Deploys Redknee IP Charging Gateway

TORONTO, CANADA – November 29, 2005 - Redknee Inc., a leading provider of innovative infrastructure software that delivers value-added personalized services and content for mobile users today announced that O2 plc has deployed the Redknee IP Charging Gateway in the UK and Ireland. The solution allows O2 to provide diverse rating and charging mobile services and bill subscribers when a service is requested or used.

Redknee’s IP Charging Gateway enables O2 to rate and charge data traffic in real-time. The solution is deployed commercially in top-tier networks allowing operators to generate sophisticated, context-aware rating and charging rules for GPRS traffic. Redknee’s IP Charging Gateway allows carriers to charge prepaid and postpaid users for WAP, WEB and MMS traffic.
