Redknee Secures Location-Services Contract with Tier 1 US Wireless Carrier

TORONTO, Ontario – October 19, 2005 – Redknee, Inc, a leading global provider of communication software to wireless network operators, today announced it secured a location services contract with a Tier 1 US wireless carrier enabling the operator to offer secure, personalized, and 3rd party location-based services to its mobile customers.

Redknee’s Gateway Mobile Location Center (GMLC) called Enhanced Location Services (ELS) provides commercial location-based services (LBS) as well as FCC compliant Phase II Enhanced 911 (E911) service on the same platform.

This is the second US mobile operator to select Redknee’s proven LBS software solution. Eight other carriers worldwide have selected Redknee in the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Austria, and CALA.

Redknee did not disclose any financial details about the deal, but said the ELS solution was expected to start operation in early 2006.
