Redknee Appoints Shaun MacDonald to Vice President of Corporate Development
Toronto, ON – July 14, 2005 - Redknee Inc., a leading global provider of communication software to wireless telecommunication network operators, today announced the appointment of Shaun MacDonald to the position of Vice President of Corporate Development. In this new role, Shaun will be responsible for Redknee’s mergers and acquisitions and driving worldwide corporate alliance activities.“Redknee is a high growth company. Prior to Redknee, Shaun spent seven years at Cisco Systems and three years at Openwave Systems, leading a broad range of international acquisition, investment, licensing and spin-off transactions. At Cisco Systems, he also managed strategic alliances with tier one companies such as Intel and Motorola. Earlier in his career, Shaun developed international sales channels in Southeast Asia, Latin America and Canada for Eicon Technology and acquired sales and marketing experience working for Hewlett-Packard here in Toronto.
