Redknee appoints new Vice President of Business Development - Channel Partnerships and Vice President of Sales - Caribbean and Latin America Region
MISSISSAUGA, ON — April 01, 2005 — Redknee Inc., a leading global provider of communication software to wireless telecommunication network operators, today announced the appointment of Vishal Kothari as Vice President of Business Development – Channel and Partnerships and Mohamed Jamal as Vice President of Sales – Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) Region.In their new roles, Vishal will be responsible for placing an increased focus on global partnerships and alliances, concentrating on aspects such as end-to-end solutions for our customers, best-of-breed technology and channel partners. Mohamed Jamal will continue to identify and drive targeted areas of growth in CALA sales such as partnerships and distribution channels, as well as drive the development and execution of Redknee CALA corporate strategy.

Mr. Kothari is one of four co-founders of Redknee and since it’s inception has been the VP of Sales for the Americas. Vishal will continue in his role supporting Redknee’s North American Sales organizations.
Before joining Redknee, Mr. Jamal has had 10 years of experience in various management positions within Nortel globally including technical sales support, commercial marketing, business development, and sales. He has been with Redknee for two and a half years as the account director for the CALA region.
Mr. Kothari holds a BASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from University of Toronto, while Mr Jamal holds a BSEE from University of Georgia Tech.
