Redknee Appoints CTO
New appointment will focus on growing demand for next generation wireless products

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO - JULY 3, 2003 - Redknee Inc, the market leader in open architecture wireless solutions, announced today the appointment of Bohdan Zabawskyj to the position of Chief Technical Officer (CTO). In his new role as CTO of Redknee, Mr. Zabawskyj will be responsible for formulating and communicating Redknee's strategic direction to the company's customers. In particular, Mr. Zabawskyj will ensure that Redknee’s valued added solutions and technologies fulfill the immediate to mid-term requirements of Redknee’s customers while providing an extensible path to meet their long term business needs.

Bohdan has served as the Head of Product Evolution (2000 - 2003). Prior to joining Redknee in 2000, Mr. Zabawskyj was responsible for formulating several strategic and regulatory initiatives on various service development and interconnection related issues at Clearnet Communications prior to its acquisition by Telus Mobility. Prior to his position at Clearnet Communications, Mr. Zabawskyj was responsible for evaluating the evolution of the personal and terminal mobility environment for Bell Mobility. Today he is a frequent speaker and panelist on open service architecture software and open services business models. Mr. Zabawskyj has a B.A.Sc (Honours) and M.Eng in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and McGill University respectively and is an MBA candidate specializing in Information Technology at Athabasca University.
